When people see something that looks on the surface to be a great trick, it takes away from the real needs and quality of what should be going on. I don’t want to bag anybody, but you go to any horse expo or demonstration and there’s a lot of bridleles, liberty riding going on, and all this sort of stuff \u2013 but you still don’t see those horses any happier than if you had the biggest bit and biggest pair of spurs you could ride in. Their feelings about what’s going on would be the same in those horses. And I think when you present these things that make people go: \u201cOh WOW isn’t that amazing!\u201d it overshadows the real horsemanship that’s meant to be going on underneath all that. It muddies the waters in people’s minds what is the difference between good horsemanship and what’s good showmanship. That’s always bothered me so we’re deliberately avoided the expos.<\/span>
\nKad ljudi vide ne\u0161to, \u0161to na prvi pogled izgleda kao dobar trik, pogled na stvarne potrebe i kvalitetu rada mo\u017ee se brzo izgubiti. Ne \u017eelim omalova\u017eavati nikoga, ali na svakom konjskom sajmu ili demonstraciji mo\u017eete vidjeti puno jahanja bez \u017evale, bez sedla, bez i\u010dega \u2013 ali usprkos svemu tome konji ne izgledaju ni\u0161ta sre\u0107nije od onih, koje bi jahali sa najve\u010dom \u017evalom i mamuzama koje bi mogli na\u0107. Osje\u010danja bi im bila ista. Mislim da predstave, koje kod gledaoca probude: \u201eO, WOW, kako je to divno!\u201c osje\u010daje, zasjene pravo konjarstvo, koje bi se moralo odvijati ispod povr\u0161ine. Sve skupa kod ljudi zamuti pravu sliku o razlici izme\u0111u dobrog konjarstva i dobre predstave za publiku. To bi mi uvijek smetalo i zbog tog ne odlazimo na sajmove.<\/span>
\nKo ljudje vidijo nekaj, kar na prvi pogled zgleda kot krasen trik, se pogled na to, kak\u0161ne so resni\u010dne potrebe in kvaliteta tega, kar se dogaja, nekako zamegli. Ne \u017eelim nikogar omalova\u017eevati, a pojdite na kateri koli konjeni\u0161ki sejem ali predstavitev in videli boste veliko jahanja brez brzde, brez sedla, brez vsega \u2013 a ne boste videli, da bi bili ti konji kaj dosti bolj sre\u010dni kot so tisti, katerih jaha\u010di bi imeli najve\u010djo brzdo, kar jih najde\u0161, in prav take ostroge. Njihova \u010dustva o tem, kar se jim dogaja, niso ni\u010d kaj razli\u010dna. In mislim da, ko predstavi\u0161 take \u00bbbrez vsega\u00ab stvari, ki pri ljudeh vzbudijo \u00bbOh, WOW, ali ni to \u010dudovito!\u00ab reakcijo, zasen\u010di\u0161 resni\u010dno konjarstvo, ki bi se pod povr\u0161ino moralo odvijati. Vse skupaj pri ljudeh skali pravo sliko, v \u010dem je razlika med dobrim konjarstvom in dobro predstavo za publiko. To me je vedno motilo in prav zaradi tega se namenoma izogibamo sejmom.<\/span>
